1. Start with concealer. Apply to under eye area and anywhere else you have darkness or redness. Do not blend in completely.

2. Dot foundation to one half of the face. Blend in with a sponge. I feel a sponge makes the process go quicker. Then let the foundation dry.

3. Apply loose powder or dual finish powder, they work equally as well. Loose is more natural. The dual compact is a heavier matte finish.

4. Apply blush with a blush brush. Dip brush into blush, then wipe on a tissue before applying to the face. Keep blush up high. This draws attention to the eyes..

5. The first step of eye makeup is eye base. This product keeps eye shadow from creasing, makes shadow go on easier without blotching. A necessity for long lasting smooth eye shadow. Use two coats of this product from lid to brow.

6. Next, apply a light colored shadow from lid to brow. Cover the entire area!

7. Tap the darker colored shadow on a tissue before applying to the outer half of the lid.

8. Eye pencil accents the eyes! Line on top of the lid closest to the eyelashes as possible. When lining underneath the eye, start at the pupil and out from there. This makes the eye look larger.

9. Apply mascara. I prefer a mascara that is not waterproof. This type is easier to take off, and better for the eyelashes.

10. Brush on brow is next if you need to fill in the brows. Dip brush into brow filler and then tap well on a tissue. Use a soft touch. It is always easier to add than to wipe off.

11. Lip liner is used to define and enhance lips. It also can be used to correct lip shape. Once again, use a light touch. Lip liner does not have to be dark to be effective.

12. Lipstick can now be applied. Just fill in the lip liner wiht your favorite color. Sometimes after applying lipstick the blush will seem brighter. I usually avoid adding blush until my lipstick is on.
